F4T STATEMENT OF FAITH

At Food4Thought, we are a faith-driven movement where we create spaces for personal discovery, leadership, and purpose to intersect, igniting transformation in people, organisations, and communities, especially in the marketplace, seven days a week. Our work is unapologetically Christian, grounded in the life and teachings of Jesus and the truth of the Bible, with a strong focus on Acts 2 and Luke 10:1-3. We are called to love God and others wholeheartedly, live out the Great Commission daily, and raise workers for the end-time harvest.

We affirm the following beliefs as central to our mission:

The Bible is our final authority

We believe the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, is the uniquely inspired and authoritative Word of God. It is completely trustworthy and sufficient as the foundation for Christian belief, life, and leadership.

2 Timothy 3:15–17; 2 Peter 1:20–21; Revelation 22:18-19

God is One—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit

We believe in one eternal God, existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is the Creator and Sustainer of all life, perfectly holy, just, loving, and active in human history.

Genesis 1:26; John 1:1–2; John 14:26; Philippians 2:6; 2 Corinthians 13:14

Jesus Christ is at the centre

We believe in the absolute deity and full humanity of Jesus Christ—His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, sacrificial death on the cross, bodily resurrection, ascension, and present reign as Lord and Advocate. He will return personally as King, in power and glory, to judge, to restore, and to reign forever. Through Him alone we find forgiveness, restoration, and eternal life.

Isaiah 9:6–7; Colossians 1:15–20; Hebrews 12:2; John 14:6; Philippians 2:9–11

 The Holy Spirit empowers us

We believe the Holy Spirit indwells all believers, bringing new life, enabling godly living, empowering service, and guiding us into truth. He equips us to influence culture, community, and the marketplace for God's purposes.

Acts 1:8; 2 Timothy 1:7; Romans 8:11; Ephesians 3:16

Humanity is created in God’s image but has fallen

We believe every human being is made in the image of God, with inherent dignity and purpose. However, through sin, we are separated from God and in need of redemption.

Genesis 1:26-27; Romans 3:23

Covenant of Marriage

We believe marriage is a sacred, lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, ordained by God and rooted in His design. It reflects Christ’s love for the Church—marked by love, respect, and faithfulness. This covenant forms the basis of family and society. We uphold this design with grace, humility, and truth, while honouring the dignity of every person.

Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:4–6; Ephesians 5:25–33; Hebrews 13:4

Salvation is by grace through faith

We believe that salvation is a gift from God, made possible through the shed blood of Jesus. It is not earned by works but received by faith alone. This salvation includes forgiveness, new birth by the Holy Spirit, and eternal life.

Ephesians 2:8–9; John 3:16; Romans 5:1-2; Galatians 2:16; Titus 3:3–8

We are called to live on mission

We believe God invites us to be agents of change, bringing hope, truth, and reconciliation into every space we occupy—whether in homes, businesses, education, government, or global arenas. Ministry doesn’t belong to a building; it belongs to people living out their faith daily. Faith is not confined to religion; it fuels how we think, serve, create, and lead. At Food4Thought, our faith informs our strategy, our character, and our commitment to others.

Matthew 28:18–20; 2 Corinthians 5:18–20; Acts 1:8; 2 Corinthians 5:7; Galatians 2:20

We belong to the global Body of Christ

We believe in the unity of all believers across denominations, ministries, cultures, and generations. Together we form one global Church, committed to Jesus and His redemptive work on earth.

Ephesians 4:4–6; 1 Corinthians 12:12–14; Galatians 3:28

There is eternal hope

We believe in the bodily resurrection of all people—those who are in Christ to eternal life, and those apart from Him to judgment. Jesus will return to establish His kingdom in fullness and restore all things.

Daniel 12:2; 1 Corinthians 15:51–57; Revelation 20:11–15
